...Patchy freezing drizzle continues... Patchy freezing drizzle will continue for the next few hours, especially across interior northern lower Michigan. While any additional ice accumulations will remain minimal, secondary and untreated road surfaces will remain ice-covered and slippery. Motorists are urged to use caution when traveling this afternoon. Temperatures are expected to continue to slowly rise above freezing by later this afternoon.

Total ice accumulations likely remaining under a tenth of an inch. For the Winter Storm Warning, precipitation will start off as freezing rain/ drizzle. Total ice accumulations up to two tenths of an inch with total snow accumulations between 6 and 10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph, resulting in significant blowing and drifting snow. * WHERE...Cheboygan, Emmet, and Presque Isle Counties. * WHEN...For the Winter Weather Advisory, until 1 PM EST this afternoon. For the Winter Storm Warning, from 7 PM this evening to 1 AM EST Tuesday. * IMPACTS...Ice accumulation on power lines and tree limbs may cause local power outages. Localized whiteout conditions are expected overnight Sunday through Monday. Persons should consider delaying all travel. Motorists should use extreme caution if travel is absolutely necessary.
